Competitive Camps & Training

Technika Academy offers Competitive Camps throughout the year for those players that are looking to improve their game in a fun environment, but who will be pushed to master specific technical elements before the week's end. Players ages 8-19 are eligible for our Competitive Camps.  We offer Competitive Camps for both boys and girls, but they must be at least 8 years old before they will be allowed to register. Those players that are playing 8U Academy soccer, who are seven, will be allowed to participate, but they must contact us before registering.

Coaches for our Competitive Camps are fully licensed and have many years of coaching experience.  Minimum license level of USSF 'D' is held for all our Competitive Camps.  Campers that register for our Competitive Camps are pushed to develop during their week of training.  Coaches still engage in fun and exciting activities, but increased demands exist for those that register for this level of camp as compared to our Recreational Camps. Player evaluations after a week of training is available upon request.

The Schedule and Curriculum for our Competitive Camps are very similar to our Recreational Camps, but for the Afternoon Session from 12-3pm, Competitive Campers will engage in additional technical and tactical play, which is different than our Recreational Camp curriculum from 12-3pm, where players are doing moderate resting and limited soccer-specific activities.  Competitive campers are expected to train within soccer-specific activities all day for the duration of the camp week.

Expectations for our Competitive campers are higher than those campers who register for our Recreational Camps.  We expect all players to arrive on time, with all their gear, and hold players to higher standards both behaviorally and technically.  We also expect high commitment to attend every session, and to model appropriate camper conduct to those around, especially our Recreational campers.

Registration for our Competitive Camps for any season will open in conjunction with our Recreational Camp offerings.  There are discounts available for: Registering Early (Early Bird Discount), Registering Multiple Kids at a Time, and for Registering for Multiple Weeks at a Time.  Additional registration discounts exist for: (1) Whitefield Academy current employees, (2) Church of the Apostles members, and (3) Homeschool families.  Register for our Competitive Camps via the Register Now button (coming soon) or by scrolling below.  Registering Early, Multiple Kids at a Time, and for Multiple Weeks at a Time will appear during checkout.  Please email us for any additional registration discounts that are applicable to your family.
