Players ages 4-19 are eligible for our Recreational Camps.  We offer Recreational Camps for both boys and girls, but they must be at least 3 (going on 4) years old before registering. Those players that are playing Recreational soccer or who may never have played before, or those wanting to learn more about the game are perfect for our Recreational Camps.

Coaches utilized for our Recreational Camps are fully licensed coaches, young adults, and older Select players.  Campers are taught foundational skills in a fun and exciting way so that they develop during their week of training. 

The Schedule and Curriculum for our Recreational Camps are very similar to our Competitive Camps, but for the Afternoon Session from 12-3pm, Recreational Campers will alternate between resting with fun games (puzzles, reading, drawing, etc.) and soccer-specific activities.

Expectations for our Recreational campers are lower than those campers who register for our Competitive Camps.  We do, however, expect all players to arrive on time, with all their gear, and have a positive attitude for learning and development, but each session is geared more towards working with the individual through mastery of foundational topics, instead of pushing each camper out of their comfort zones, much like what we would do at our Competitive Camps.  We still expect each camper to model appropriate camper conduct to those around, especially our younger Recreational campers.

Registration for our Recreational Camps for any season will open in conjunction with our Competitive Camp offerings.  There are discounts available for: Registering Early (Early Bird Discount), Registering Multiple Kids at a Time, and Registering for Multiple Weeks at a Time.  Additional Registration discounts exist for (1) Whitefield Academy current employees, (2) Church of the Apostles members, and (3) Homeschool families.  Register for our Recreational Camps via the Register Now button (coming soon) or by continuing to scroll down.
